Coventry Rag

This paper has an excellent feel to it. Very crisp, stiff and firm to the hand. I prefer the "smooth" finish to the "vellum" finish. The smooth finish feels stiffer and more pleasing. Both papers tear fabulously and leave very interesting deckle edges.

This paper takes watercolor ok - it has medium sizing I'll call it. But it is not the best.

Domestic Etching

• Very little sizing so it does not take watercolors or guache at all.
• Soft fluffy touch to the paper
• Prints drypoints fantastically
• Cheap - great student paper.
